The bones with osteoporosis get thinner, and there is damage in the disks in the neck. The pain may be caused by the bones rubbing against each other in the cervical spine. The sudden pressure to the neck can significantly harm and rupture neck muscles. This type is also one symptom for those who got into car accidents. While sitting at your computer desk at work can also result in neck pain. This is because there is minimal movement, and the ligaments and muscles in the neck get tight.
